"He refuses a crime," 24-year-old's lawyer Fredrik Lindberg told SVT Västernorrland after Wednesday's hearing.
Chamber Prosecutor Jens Göransson cites four arrest grounds:
• Risk of the suspect departing
• Risk that he may destroy evidence or otherwise make the case more difficult to investigate
• Risk of continuing his criminal activities
• That the sentence scale for the crime in question is more than two years in prison.
The prosecutor also wants the 24-year-old to be subject to restrictions during the arrest period.
The detention hearing is held at eleven o'clock in Sundsvall District Court.
