The Egyptian prosecution renewed the detention of two people for 15 days on charges of kidnapping a worker, torturing him with hot water and beating due to financial disputes.

According to the Egyptian press, the police station received a report from a print shop worker, a resident of Giza Governorate, who was hit by two people who lured him, detained him in an apartment, and beat him.

He threw hot water on his body, causing him burns in the abdomen, back and feet. They released him for fear of further injury.

Following the legalization of the procedures, the Egyptian police managed to arrest the defendants and confessed to committing the incident.

The defendants in the investigation added that the company officials erected them and seized them from the amount of 190 thousand Egyptian pounds, so they planned to lure the worker who mediated them to their place of residence, and they detained and assaulted him, causing him injury to force him to refund the money.
