• José María Moriche. So is Susana Díaz's husband

José María Moriche, the husband of the former president of the Andalusian Government and leader of the PSOE-A, Susana Díaz, received two million-dollar grants granted by the Board to the Andalusian federation of UGT, in which the investigating judge has detected significant deviations from public funds

The holder of the Court of Instruction 9 of Seville, Juan Jesús García Vélez , has just issued a car in which he raised to 40,750,047.74 euros the alleged fraud committed by the union with the diversion of subsidies of the Junta de Andalucía through of the issuance of false invoices and fictitious rents of headquarters where courses were taught.

In the order, the judge agrees to continue as an abbreviated proceeding the case opened against former UGT-A Secretary General Francisco Fernández Sevilla and another 14 people for alleged crimes of subsidy fraud and false business document. This case was uncovered by EL MUNDO and other media in 2013. After the journalistic revelations, the judicial investigation began.

The judge circumscribes the alleged fraud committed by UGT-A to 14 grants, including two of those received by Susana Díaz's husband. These are the files of subsidies granted by the Board to UGT-A 98/2009 / M / 211 and 98/2009 / J / 217 totaling 11,008,656.75 euros to which Susana Díaz's husband's payroll was charged . José María Moriche spent almost a decade working at the Institute of Training and Social Studies (Ifes) of UGT, the body of the union that was in charge of teaching the courses. First, he was hired for one year in the union and then, for eight more years in Ifes, until his wife was appointed as a Presidency advisor in 2012 by the then president of the Andalusian Government, José Antonio Griñán.

Although Moriche was an administrative assistant of the UGT Ifes, to justify the subsidy before the Board he appeared as "tutor, evaluator and preparer" of all kinds of training actions. As this newspaper reported years ago, UGT paid the payroll of Moriche in 102 different courses of three grants worth 25 million euros.

Now, it is the investigating judge of the UGT case that includes the subsidies to which Susana Díaz's husband's payroll was charged among the aid diverted by the union. The one with the greatest amount and volume of fraud is the one granted on November 16, 2009, for an amount of 8 million for 183 courses. Of the 8 million, the "non-eligible" amount amounts to 7,584,462.95 euros, according to the court order.
