According to the senator, Poroshenko “destroyed” a lot in Ukraine, including the relationship between Ukraine and Russia in the energy sector.
The parliamentarian also noted that the ex-president considers it normal that Ukraine buys the so-called reverse gas for a higher price instead of cheaper deliveries directly from Russia.
“You understand why people in Ukraine treat him like that. He absolutely does not think that if the price is lower, respectively, the price will be lower for an ordinary citizen of Ukraine, and there are more than enough disadvantaged people in Ukraine, ”he concluded.
Poroshenko previously called surrender the return of direct gas supplies from Russia.
He noted that for five years Ukraine has not been purchasing Russian gas and is “quite satisfied” with deliveries from Europe.
