Controls voluntarily excluded
The controls on the Morandi, which collapsed causing 43 deaths, were "excluded by Spea through specific prescriptions". Ok the load tests on Pecetti Sud and Fado Nord
Autostrade per l'Italia announced that it had successfully completed the loading tests on the Pecetti Sud and Fado Nord viaducts on the A26 on Sunday: "they have shown that the performance level and safety of the two viaducts are fully confirmed", reports Aspi stresses that it has sent the results of the tests to the MIT supervisory structures.

480 tons on the viaduct
The load test, performed under the supervision of three industry experts (engineers Alessio Lupoi, Pirangelo Pistoletti and Massimo Acanfora), consisted, Aspi explains, of the simultaneous positioning of 16 trucks, arranged consecutively along the 37-meter span, each weighing 30 tons, for a total weight of over 480 tons. The results of the measurements showed that the lowering levels of the deck shown are similar to those measured during the original test. At the end of the test, when the loads were removed from the two viaducts, the lowering value returned to near zero, demonstrating the elastic behavior of the two works and their state of preservation.
