The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (DGRFA) has launched the five-language Dubai Language Program on the Ithraa Smart Platform, the first of its kind in the UAE. He added that «Dubai Language Program comes within the national agenda, that the UAE to be one of the best countries in the world in the Human Development Index, and the happiest countries, and we are keen in the establishment of Dubai to prepare human cadres able to meet the needs of work, and keep pace with developments and rapid changes that occur in the areas of work By providing the employee with the necessary skills, developing and equipping him with knowledge and languages, to facilitate him to deal with the various nationalities in the country, which contributes to achieve the highest degree of happiness for travelers ».
He explained that «Dubai languages» comes within the Department's preparations for the reception of «Expo 2020», where the staff of the outlets receive tens of millions of multinational visitors, stressing that the Department is ready to receive visitors from different countries of the world, in a manner that befits the status of the state.
Brigadier Awad Al Awaim, Assistant General Manager for Human Resources and Finance at the Department, said that Dubai Languages is an addition to the Ithraa Smart Continuous Learning Platform, which provides an automatic self-training opportunity for employees throughout the year. He added that Dubai Languages includes five languages (French, Chinese, English, Russian and Spanish).
