Lisbon (dpa) - The Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg is expected to arrive in the Portuguese capital Lisbon after crossing the Atlantic Ocean this morning. There she is received by Mayor Fernando Medina and wants to give a press conference. The team on board the catamaran "La Vagabonde" expects to arrive at the port of Doca de Santo Amaro between 8 am and 10 am, tweeted Thunberg. The 16-year-old wants to participate in Madrid on Friday in the planned major demonstration on the occasion of the UN climate summit. How to get there is not yet known.
