The strike of December 5 massive announcement, not only in transport. Many of the public employees are getting ready to follow in the footsteps of the railwaymen, and the private sector may well have its share of strikers. In any case, that is what unions want to believe.

Carrefour, Casino, Monoprix, Sodexo ... There were nearly 200 delegates gathered Monday at the headquarters of the CGT in Montreuil. If the strike of December 5 promises to be massive in transport, subways and trains will be only the most visible part of the iceberg. The movement should be widely followed by employees of the public, and the unions want absolutely to show that the sling is also shared by employees of the private sector.

In Montreuil, the 200 CGT delegates all make the same speech: "Something has been going on for a few weeks ..." Christine Gagnaire, for example, union representative at Carrefour Market, assures her: in the shops, the employees ask her many questions about pension reform. "When we talk about pensions, spontaneously, they say, 'What can we do?' We can see that there is something that shudders. " According to her, "many people" should finally decide to go on strike.

"If you do not come to work, you have no salary"

Self-persuasion or initiation of a real mobilization? "You have to admit that there is fear, especially with regard to deductions. If you do not come to work, you have no salary ...", says Pierre Adou, delegate at Domino's Pizza. He explains that in the private sector, declaring oneself striker is not that simple. "They are divided, do not know whether or not to go in. But I think that today, they are a little more to say that it is necessary to go there."

Monday, Europe 1 tried to join several big brands. "Until now, our sensors do not make us go back up," they said. But there are two days left, and in the private sector, no need to give notice to go on strike!
