He stated this in a video message posted on his Facebook page.

“We are working to reduce heating bills this winter, this is very important. And they also found an interesting solution that will allow next winter to reduce heat tariffs by almost half. It will be a separate program, ”he said.

Along with this, he clarified that the reduction in tariffs will not occur at the expense of Ukrainians.

Zelensky also noted that the government approved the guaranteed gas price program and it decreased by 7%.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government decided to remove the restriction on rising tariffs for heating and hot water.

In September, Naftogaz published a list of debtor companies involved in heating Ukrainian cities. Due to the debts accumulated by them, a number of settlements in Ukraine may remain partially or completely without heat in the winter.
