Balbek expressed the opinion that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky "walks in circles around clearly formed Minsk agreements."
“His (Zelensky. - RT ) entourage has already come up with so many plans for the return of Donbass - A, B, C ... that soon the alphabet will not be enough. But the problem is not solved. This stubborn reluctance to comply with the Minsk agreements, unfortunately, primarily harms Ukraine itself, ”the parliamentarian said.
The politician pointed out the need to comply with the Steinmeier formula, which is an important factor in achieving peace in the Donbass.
Ignoring Steinmeier’s formula and the Minsk agreements, according to Balbek, speak of the “political indecision” of Kiev.
“Instead of reluctantly, even if reluctantly fulfilling the same document signed by her (Ukraine. - RT ), she is trying to find another way out of this problem, and each time she is convinced that it is not there,” the deputy concluded.
Earlier Zelensky said that he was counting on Plan A to resolve the conflict in the Donbass. Thus, he answered the question of journalists about whether he has a plan B in the absence of progress to resolve the situation in southeastern Ukraine.
