“No discussion of Crimea is possible. This has been repeatedly spoken about at various levels, ”the Kremlin representative said.

Answering a clarifying question about what Russian President Vladimir Putin will do if Zelensky raises this topic at a personal meeting, Peskov indicated that the Russian leader "will certainly give detailed and consistent answers to all relevant questions."

Zelensky said earlier that the United States could help Kiev in the situation around Crimea. So, the president proposed a format for negotiations involving Ukraine, Russia and the United States.

According to him, he intends to raise this issue at the Norman summit.

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, at which most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
