The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg ordered a two-month arrest in the criminal case of the brutal murder of a 9-year-old child in Yekaterinburg. The boy’s father, Ivan Kazantsev, and the 48-year-old Zemfira Gaynullina, the head of the disciples of the Disciples of Jesus Christ, in which the parents of the victim were, are accused of reprisal against the minor.
According to media reports, after the crime, the Kazantsevs turned to Gainullina to resurrect their child. When she did not succeed, her parents got rid of the body.
“The final criminal role of each of the detainees will be established during the investigation, their possible involvement in other previously committed crimes will also be checked. Moreover, operational information on the possible presence of other suspects will be checked without fail, ”the official statement of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region says.
The murder took place on November 5, but it became known only on November 28, when the child’s body was found in the park of the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol in the south-west of Yekaterinburg, near the house where his family was renting an apartment. This place was indicated by an anonymous person who turned to the line “The child is in danger” of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Sverdlovsk Region.
According to local media, the sister of the mother of the murdered child could report the crime.
“According to the results of a trip to the scene of the incident in the indicated area of the locality, a boy’s body was found hidden in the ground and wrapped in a sheet. The cause of the death of the child was mechanical asphyxia from the closure of the respiratory tract, ”says the UK commentary on the video of the detention of the child’s father.
Before the child dies, they brutally beat him, found on the boy’s body traces of lashes, and on his neck - traces of suffocation. According to media reports, during the reprisal, the boy’s mouth was gagged. During a search of the apartment, they found a whip and a Bible.
The UK said that according to the preliminary version, the father killed his son due to personal hostility.
Parents and sect
At the time of the discovery of the body, on November 28, the mother of the child, a citizen of Belarus Anna Kazantseva, was no longer in Russia. Immediately after the murder, she herself left for her homeland. However, on December 1, Kazantseva returned to Yekaterinburg.
As noted in the investigative committee, the woman herself came to the interrogator for questioning. According to media reports, she said that her husband was involved in the reprisal against her son, and she herself only helped to hide the body.
While the woman is going through the criminal case as a witness, no charges have yet been brought against her. It is noted that Anna Kazantseva suffers from a mental illness and has been treated more than once in one of the clinics in Belarus.
According to law enforcement agencies, the Kazantsevs and their children moved to Yekaterinburg only in early October and lived in rented apartments. The family was not registered as dysfunctional. It is known that another child was brought up in the family.
After the murder, the father escaped with his second son, but soon the man was found and detained in Ufa. The detention frames were published by the Sverdlovsk Directorate of SU SK in its Youtube channel: in the video, the man first denies that he has another child.
"Disciple of God"
According to media reports, the parents of the murdered boy were in the Jesus Disciples sect, led by 48-year-old Zemfira Gainullina. Journalists found on the Internet that Gainullina led a “sinful life” in Novy Urengoy until 2012, until the Lord “appeared and called by the name of Tamar,” after which her “amazing path” began.
Sources close to the investigation reported that during interrogation Gainullina called herself a “disciple of God,” and also stated that “she doesn’t live in this world at all” when she was asked about her place of work.
The leader of the Disciples of Jesus, Zemfira Gaynullina, led her channel on Youtube - basically there were songs of Jesus singing along with the guitar that were published. On one of the videos, adherents of the sect are also captured - several women in shawls, a man and two children dancing and clapping their hands to a song performed by Gainullina. She also kept a Twitter account calling herself the “Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
According to media reports, supporters recruited by Gainullina in social networks sold their apartments, joined the sect and traveled with her to different cities in Russia and Belarus.
It is reported that the head of the sect urged his followers to severely punish children for any misconduct, and in the Kazantsev’s apartment on Dorozhnaya Street, rites of “cleansing” children of “demons” were repeatedly held. Now law enforcement officers are looking for other members of the sect, which, allegedly, were Kazantsev and his wife.
