Lukashenko expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and to all Russians on his own behalf and on the people of Belarus.

Earlier, the Commissioner for the Rights of the Child in Russia, Anna Kuznetsova, reported the death of four children in a traffic accident in Transbaikalia.

On December 1, when a passenger bus fell from a bridge onto the ice of the Kuenga River in the Sretensky district of the Transbaikal Territory, 19 people were killed and another 22 were injured. The region declared mourning.

Condolences in connection with the death of people in Transbaikalia were expressed in the Council of Europe.
