Syrian government forces have recovered some of the points they lost in Idlib countryside, said a field commander who asked not to be named: “After fierce battles with opposition gunmen, the Syrian army recovered all the points lost yesterday in the town of Ajaz in the southeastern countryside of Idlib. The field commander confirmed that «the Syrian Air Force fired dozens of missiles at the headquarters of armed factions in the vicinity of the town of Kfarouma, Hass, Saraqeb and Farwan village of Edlib countryside, were destroyed and dozens of their members were killed». For its part, armed factions acknowledged the loss of the town of Ijaz and the control of government forces, said a military commander in the so-called «National Liberation Front»: «the factions withdrew from the town of Ijaz, due to intensive aerial and artillery bombardment of Syrian government forces and Russian aviation, and our forces are still stationed in farms and villages "Around the town, fighting battles with government forces that want to advance and control the surrounding villages." In a related context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that more than 800 people were killed last November as a result of the ongoing conflict in the country for years.

Of the 805 people killed in November, 227 were civilians, including 44 children under the age of 18 and 29 women, the Observatory said, adding that 79 of those killed were killed by Russian warplanes.

He pointed out that among the dead were 241 fighters of the armed factions, 137 government forces and 71 Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The Observatory documented the death of two children under the age of 18, yesterday, after a landmine exploded while grazing sheep in the farms of Hosh Nasri village in the countryside of Douma city, thus raising the number of those killed by the explosion of mines and explosive remnants of war in different parts of Syrian territory in Homs and Hama Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and southern Syria, from the beginning of January this year until yesterday, to 217 people, including 61 women and 60 children.
