William began his project as early as November, and it was not until the next evening that he was finished.

- I've been here and there to look for stuff, then friends have helped get everything up. It's taken its time, says William.

Friend's call: Go "all in"

It was a good friend who thought he would go "all in" and decorate his house properly, just because so many cars pass by.

- The house has really paid attention, if you say so. Cars have tried to stop, people have come and knocked and wondered who is behind everything. It's great fun, he continues, laughing.

Not for their own sake

But it is not for his own sake, he emphasizes, but for his daughters, three and four years old:

- They love Christmas, and they love it. Had it not been for them, I would have never put in so much work.

Christmas music around the clock

In addition to the decoration, he also plays Christmas music outside the house - around the clock.

- But not at any high volume, I do not want the neighbors to get angry. Maybe not everyone, but most, also seems to think this is a fun thing.

In the Thirteenth weekend all the decorations will be taken down again.

- Yes, I'll start then, it will probably take a few days before the house looks as usual again.
