Media: IS has claimed responsibility for the London Bridge attack

The IG stated that the attack was made by one of their militants.

However, no evidence was provided of the attacker's connection with the Islamic State.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for abandoning the practice of parole for terrorists.

On November 29, a man armed with a knife attacked passersby on the London Bridge. As a result of the incident, recognized by Scotland Yard as a terrorist attack, two people were killed.

It later turned out that the attacker was Usman Khan, a 28-year-old resident of Staffordshire, previously convicted of having connections with terrorists.
