The Östergötland Museum has cut 16 locations in Östergötland where strange things have happened. It is about places that have a connection to stories, ghost stories and stories about tragic deaths.
The idea of the compilation is to inspire visits to the sites but also to critically examine the truth of the stories.
"The stories themselves are interesting, but this has got a life of its own, not least with Youtubers," says Björn Ivarsson Lilieblad, Head of Department at Östergötland Museum.
- There you make a lot of statements if what you say is true. As a historian, I am naturally interested, is this really true? And for the most part, it has turned out that it really is not, he concludes.
