• Strike: EMT hardens its protest: more bus stops in Madrid during the Climate Summit

Jesús Fraile, member of the strike committee of the EMT, has encouraged "to break the legs" to the mayor of Madrid , José Luis Martínez-Almeida. The union leader has uttered this threat - as can be seen in a video that EL MUNDO has had access to - in the context of the conflict between the public transport company and the City Hall of the capital.

In it, Fraile is seen in front of a group of workers, assuring that the alderman "can break his legs" and that since "he has them too short (...) he will stay in nothing" .

"Surely you cross with him on the street and you will not see him because he is very short, both politically and tall," continues the representative of the works council. "I screwed him a lot to be called low , so every time you see him you call him low," he adds.

After four days of partial stoppages of two hours per shift, EMT workers are called to second another two strike hours 24 hours, next Wednesday, day 3 and 13, and another of partial stoppages on day 10, coinciding with the Celebration of the Climate Summit, which takes place in Ifema between December 2 and 13.

Almeida has reloaded this Saturday against what it considers a political strike on the buses of the EMT and has asked what else the City Hall of the capital can do because, it defends, they have attended to "all its claims" , reports Efe.
