About this, the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) Yuriy Terentyev told the publication "New Time".

“You can find yourself in a completely absurd situation when the Chinese side, together with Ukroboronprom, would gain control over this enterprise. At the same time, the United States can find confirmation that the Chinese side is present in the Russian Helicopters supply chain - and there will be a Kafka situation when Ukroboronprom and Motor Sich find themselves in American anti-Russian sanctions, ”he said.

Along with this, Terentyev added that in this situation, all Ukrainian enterprises that finance Ukroboronprom, including state-owned banks, may be subject to American sanctions.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, in anticipation of the visit of former US Assistant Secretary of State for National Security John Bolton to Ukraine, announced plans to hinder the sale of Motor Sich, a Ukrainian company, to a group of companies, including Beijing Skyrizon Aviation, China.

Later, Motor Sich announced the purchase of more than 50% of the plant’s shares by the Chinese Skyrizon and Xinwei Group.
