The accident causes long queues and it is difficult to get past the site.
"There will be limited accessibility until we have salvaged the cars," says Joakim Lundholm, internal commander at the rescue service Mälardalen.
What has caused the accident is still unclear but according to the police it is slippery on the road.
The road is salted"It should be extremely slippery on County Road 230 and the Swedish Transport Administration is out and salting the road now," says Thomas Agnevik, Press Spokesperson Police Region East.
According to early police reports, a person must have been injured in the accident, but not seriously.
