by Tiziana Di Giovannandrea November 29, 2019The Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Palermo has forwarded to the Court of Ministers a file against former Interior Minister Matteo Salvini.

In detail, the press office of Matteo Salvini specifies, the Public Prosecutor of Palermo has forwarded to the Court of Ministers the file, against the former Minister of the Interior, which concerns the failure to grant the 'safe landing port', POS (Place of Safety) to the Open Arms ship and - writes prosecutor Francesco Lo Voi - "the consequent deprivation of personal freedom to the detriment of many migrants who have arrived in the waters of Lampedusa".

The crime would have been committed from 14 to 20 August 2019.

Senator Salvini - it should be noted - was then notified of the opening of a proceeding on a complaint by a part of the company that owns the Mare Jonio tug (of the Mediterranean NGO, whose head of mission was Luca Casarini).

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rome "requested the college for ministerial crimes to proceed with investigations and investigations". The alleged crimes are slander and defamation.

Salvini: don't the Courts have more important problems?
"But in some courts do they have more important problems to deal with? When I return to the government, I will do exactly what I did: the borders are sacred, period". In this way, the League's secretary, Salvini, expressed his thoughts on the events concerning Open Arms and the Ionian Sea, around which he was notified of two measures yesterday evening November 28th.
