His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, has affirmed that the soldier's courage, military principles and concepts of sacrifices are a patrimony of the UAE.
His Highness said: `` On the day of pride and pride of the values of sacrifice, redemption and love of the homeland, we remember the martyrs of the homeland, who have written heroic epics to defend the homeland, and preserve the achievements of his leadership and loyal righteous sons, and earnest with their pure lives in order to preserve the national territory. In the forefront of which is the martyr policeman Salem bin Suhail, who topped the list of martyrs in defense of the UAE flag, on November 30, 1971, stressing that the soldier's courage, military principles and concepts of sacrifices are a moral education and a national heritage raised by the sons of the UAE, according to the perspective of the founding leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah have mercy on him, who instilled in his sons the concepts of loyalty to the homeland, defending his land, and the maintenance of his gains ».
His Highness added: “On the martyr's day, we all remember the leadership and the people, the championships of the sons of the homeland, which affirmed the upholding of the values of sacrifice, redemption and love of the homeland. We pledge everyone that the martyrs of the homeland, their good memory and their heroism remain our pride. History will record their names in letters of light, and their children will carry the banners of splendor and pride raised by their parents and relatives. We promise God Almighty to be a sponsor of the children of the martyrs and their families and their families ».
