The nationwide unemployment rate in October was 2.4%, unchanged from the previous month.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the number of employees in October was 68.7 million, an increase of 620,000 compared to the same month of the previous year, an increase for 82 consecutive months and a new record high.

Of these, the number of women increased by 460,000 to 30,370,000, the largest since 1958 when comparisons were possible.

In addition, the number of non-regular workers such as part-time workers, temporary workers and part-time workers increased by 400,000 to 21.96 million.

The employment rate from the age of 15 to 64 was 78.2%, of which 71.8% were women, the highest since 1968, when both were comparable.

On the other hand, the number of unemployed people was 1.64 million, an increase of 10,000 compared to the same month of the previous year.

The unemployment rate across the country, excluding seasonal factors, was 2.4%, unchanged from the previous month.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the unemployment rate has remained at the lowest level in 26 years, and the employment situation continues to improve steadily.
