Popular protests continued yesterday for the 44th consecutive day in the capital Beirut, in many areas in north, south and east Lebanon and in Mount Lebanon, to demand the formation of a government to rescue and address the deteriorating economic conditions.

A number of protesters in Beirut protested in front of the VAT Directorate building to protest the fiscal policy and demanded a "clean name to head the government, working for the benefit of Lebanon", and tried to prevent the employees from entering. Some employees were allowed in, amid strong opposition from protesters.

The protesters started a march that reached the front of the government serail in the city, and part of them went to sit in front of the private banks in Nabatieh. On the money ».

Lebanon has been witnessing protests since the 17th of last month calling for the formation of a government to save from technocrats, holding early parliamentary elections, lowering the voting age to 18 years, addressing economic conditions, recovering looted funds, and holding corrupt people accountable. They emphasize their continued movement until the demands are met.
