At 14.30 on Friday, a large number of people will gather in the Beltesspännarparken in Gothenburg. The demonstration train will then go via Avenyn, Östra and Norra Hamngatan to Gustav Adolfs Torg, where a manifestation will be held.

According to the police, this will mean that accessibility in central Gothenburg will be limited during the time of the demonstration. The streets where the demonstration train passes will be temporarily closed off for car and local traffic.

Police in place

In a press release, police write that they will be in place to ensure that the manifestation is carried out in a safe and secure manner and that they cooperate with local traffic to minimize traffic disruptions.

- Given that so many people are expected to take part in the demonstration, that it is Black Friday and the start of the Christmas shopping, it will be crowded in the central city. Expect limited accessibility, be out in good time and follow current traffic information, says Anders Börjesson, Deputy Police Area Manager in Greater Gothenburg.
