The reform of the Employment Service has drawn sharp criticism from the Moderates, the Christian Democrats and, not least, the Left Party, who threatened to raise a distrust vote against Labor Minister Eva Nordmark (S) with the support of the Moderates.

At the Prime Minister's Question Time, Jonas Sjöstedt again went hard on the reform process.

- The employment service is in deep crisis. It is a partly chaotic situation. It started with the blue-brown budget, and the government has let the crisis continue, he said.

"Very strange"

Stefan Löfven argued that the government does not bear the responsibility for the M-KD-SD budget that was the basis for what he called "dramatic deterioration" within the Employment Service.

- Those who voted through that budget, V now thinks to join in. It is a very strange act. We are pushing for a substantial supplement, but equally, V thinks it is better to ally with M, KD and SD, he said.

"Similar to free fall"

Sjöstedt pointed out that the incumbent government should take responsibility for the development of its own authority.

- The prime minister and the government bear full responsibility for the chaos in AF. It looks like a free fall. I am surprised that you do not take the political responsibility of the authorities you are directly responsible for, he said.

- If I had not written during the January agreement, Jonas Sjöstedt would have got what he wants - that Ulf Kristersson is prime minister. This is perhaps why Sjöstedt allies with M, KD and SD, Löfven replied.
