The Abu Dhabi First Auto Auction, organized by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, yesterday evening recorded sales of AED 24.5 million, equivalent to about USD 6,675,000, an increase of 109% over the valuation price before the auction started.

The auction saw the sale of 13 cars, while the price of the car "Pagani" model 2006 to 15 million and 100 thousand dirhams, in light of the demand for participation and competition in the auction of cars on offer.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department confirmed that the organization of the first car auction in cooperation with the concerned sectors and departments through its specialized cadres aims primarily to ensure the highest degree of transparency, clarity and impartiality, while providing modified, rare and classic cars at a fixed price from neutral experts.

The Judicial Department, through its competent sectors, was keen to introduce the specifications of cars before the auction, through the broadcast of short introductory film materials, through its pages on social networking sites, as well as the website and the smart application of the Department.

Also featured during the auction session, introductory videos about each car before the auction began, with the organizers keen to provide opportunities to think and consult the participants in this auction, which was highly praised by the audience as a quality addition to the car market in Abu Dhabi.
