The Södertalje company has received SEK 4 and a half million to build the new plant with the aim of reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, in the long term. The biocarbon produced is to be used as soil improver which increases soil fertility.
- We have been thinking about a cinema plant for a few years and it is very gratifying that this plant will be built next year. I hope that not only Södertälje's citizens benefit from this, but also other municipalities and organizations with which we collaborate, ”says Naiara Pereira Cunha, Chairman of the Board of Telge Recycling
The plant is estimated to cost SEK 11 million.
