The Israeli Foreign Ministry said that it hosted a media delegation and bloggers from Arab countries, including unnamed Gulf countries, and from Iraq, where they toured and cultural tour and reviewed the railway project that Israel intends to establish to link with the countries of the region.

According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry's statement, the delegation was given the opportunity to "get first-hand knowledge of the diverse Israeli society and tour Israel."

The statement added that the guests were introduced to various Israeli positions on various issues and were briefed on projects in the field of development and innovation.

The delegation also visited the Yad Vashem Museum of Jewish Victims in the Nazi era, as well as the Knesset and the Holy Places in Jerusalem.

Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz said he had presented to the delegation his project, called the "Regional Peace Rail," in which he aspired to link Israel with Arab and Gulf states.
