Erlandsson has been charged with three counts of sexual misconduct after he allegedly laid his hand on three women's thighs and stroked or caressed them, or piled on the skirt. This should have happened at three different events between 2016 and 2018, where the women sat next to Erlandsson.

On Monday, two moderate female politicians were told that they were exposed and on Wednesday a third woman, a party colleague to Erlandsson, will tell us what she has experienced.

The defense admits that Erlandsson may have reached the women's thighs, but believes that Eskil Erlandsson has not committed any crime. It is based, among other things, on a previous decision in the Supreme Court, where a man was freed from sexual harassment after taking a woman on his thigh.

Erlandsson blames Viking sickness. He has long had problems with the joints in his hands, and it usually helps to massage them against his thighs.

"When he does, it appears that he is negligently approaching other people," his lawyer Johan Eriksson explained in court on Monday.
