When today's trial started the trial against the three men, 20, 22 and 29 years old who were charged with, among other things, attempted murder and serious weapons crime, one of the defendants took responsibility and said the other two were unaware of his plans.

"This was completely new information for us," says 20-year-old defense lawyer Peter Stjärna. My client was initially pointed out as the main suspect. This will be a whole new situation for us.

Got led out of the courtroom

The three men initially gave an overall impression, but after half an hour, the 22-year-old had to be led out of the courtroom to gather. He returned after a while. Several relatives were present today in the security hall of Jönköping District Court, as well as several landlords, including the two entrance hosts who were just meters from the shooting range.

One of the defendants had automatic recording of all their calls that are now used as evidence.

Automatically recorded phone calls

It was the night of February 24 that someone shot at Harry's restaurant in central Jönköping. Prosecutors have today presented how the company of the suspected shooter, the 29-year-old, was dismissed from the restaurant and how he and the two co-defendants got back in two cars and fired a shot.

In addition to surveillance footage from the site, prosecutors have extensive evidence, not least in the form of recorded telephone calls, when one of the defendants had a recording function in their phone and the calls from the night were saved.

Allows damage

The man who is suspected of having fired the gun has refused to answer police questions throughout the detention period, but admitted at the start of the trial today that he had retrieved a gun and fired the shot without the other two knowing about it. But he believes he was convinced that the premises were empty and that he was guilty of damages.

The trial is scheduled to last for seven days.
