Bolivia has appointed ambassador to the United States for the first time in eleven years, after the former was expelled by Washington following a diplomatic conflict with Evo Morales.

Walter Oscar Serrate has been appointed ambassador of Bolivia in Washington by the interim Government of Jeanine Áñez in a radical change in the country's foreign policy with respect to the almost fourteen years in Morales' power.
