26 November 201904.55 A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.5 struck at 2:54 am local time (3:54 am in Italy) the northern coast of Albania, near Durres. According to the data of the Italian INGV and the USGS the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of about 10 km and epicenter between Shijak and Durres. The quake was also felt in Tirana, where people took to the streets in a panic. No information on any damage or injuries has yet been reported.
