"The latest news is good." While the famous explorer Mike Horn, who crosses the Arctic Ocean on skis, seemed in bad shape, his daughter, Annika Horn was reassuring. It must be said that the pictures posted on the internet show the explorer, accompanied by his Norwegian colleague Borge Ousland, seriously mopped up. He and his comrade suffer from frostbite due to the extreme cold, down to -45 degrees.

Mike Horn and his expedition friend have fallen into the water several times, crossing an ice that has become extremely thin due to global warming.
"I feel that he is in a good mood again and that he is motivated to continue his adventure to the end," says Horn. The two adventurers still have a week of travel before completing their course. But given their condition, it is not certain that they can end up on foot, as expected. "It's hard to judge, but right now he does not want to hear about the helicopter option." The Norwegian relief is still on the war foot, ready to intervene in case of need.
