"April joke in November" - strong reaction to proposals for truncated railways

In Kalmar they want to equip and electrify the Tjust and Stångådals railways from Västervik to Linköping, and Kalmar to Linköping respectively.

In Östergötland you do not want to participate and pay, while Kalmar wants to invest billions. At the same time, the Swedish Transport Administration may wish to truncate the tracks just before Linköping and replace them with buses to the travel center.
