According to a survey conducted by the newspaper Råd and Rön, Skövde municipality is at the latest in the list when it comes to waiting time for budget and debt counseling in all the municipalities in the country. The waiting time to get help with the economy was 36 weeks long at the end of last year.

- We have started with improvement work and today we have four weeks of waiting time and that is what the Consumer Agency recommends, says Cecilia Klämberg, Head of Unit for the Supply Support Unit.

"Priority waiting time"

Since January this year, the municipality has been working to reduce the waiting time and today the municipality has four weeks of waiting time, which is what the Swedish Consumer Agency recommends.

- In 2019, we got staff who prioritized the waiting time, says Cecilia Klämberg.
