Four out of ten live alone in Blekinge

At present, 30,000 people live alone in Blekinge, reports P4 Blekinge.

- The single-person households are mainly in early adulthood when you move away from home and in late old age when you become a widow or a widow, says demography professor Gunnar Andersson to P4 Blekinge.

Most single-family households are located in Olofström, Karlshamn and Karlskrona, where 41 percent of households consist of only one person.

Is Sweden the country with the most single households?

- If you look at the statistics we are at the top of most single households, but there are all sorts of reasons why. I see no problem with that, says Gunnar Andersson.
