During the autumn, the Employment Service closes a large number of offices in the country. In Västerbotten, three staffed offices remain: in Umeå, Skellefteå and Lycksele.

In Storuman and Vilhelmina, the offices will remain unmanned. The nine people who worked at those offices have been offered jobs in other locations by the Employment Service. But now it is clear that everyone declined.

- We had hoped that someone would move in, but also understand that it can be difficult, says Anders Eriksson, head of the Employment Service.

Now you are looking for 3-4 new employment agents for the office in Lycksele.
