The current President of Romania, Klaus Johannis, nominated by the National Liberal Party, and the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Viorica Danchile, who will win the first round of elections will compete for the post of head of the country.

It is noted that voting takes place at 18,748 polling stations in the country and 835 polling stations abroad.

The first round of the presidential election in Romania was held on November 10, following its results, Johannis and Danchile went to the second round.
