Friday, the SNCF conducted a fist operation to fight against incivilities in the station and on trains.

REPORTAGE

60 euros fine for having passed the metro terminals by sticking the previous user, 68 euros for a cigarette smoked on a platform. On Friday in the subways and trains, the SNCF conducted a fight against incivilities, systematically verbalizing all offenders.

Arnold was fined for passing without a ticket. "It's the second time," he admits. The "shoot", as the agents call it, is the most common incivility in railway stations, with the cigarette grilled on the dock. An offense even when it's in the open and isolating itself from other passengers. "From the moment it is airy, I do not see where the danger is.But it's the law, it must be respected," said a user, just verbalized.

Traffic disruption

In train stations, avoid riding a scooter, putting your feet on the seats, or blocking the doors of trains. 20% of traffic disruptions are linked to this type of behavior, and their number continues to increase.

Mourad, head of control groups in Paris Nord, ensures to see one per minute. "We accompanied users with weeks of prevention, we did not regularize right away, now we have moved to zero tolerance, and as soon as we see one we treat and regularize it." Between January and September, 60,000 minutes were drawn up by the agents for incivilities.
