Police were alerted about the incident at 00.30 the night before Saturday. A man in his 50s had been badly beaten and taken to hospital. The police are investigating the whole thing as an attempt at murder or serious abuse.
Police have blocked off an area and will carry out a crime scene investigation during the day.
"We have no detention at this time," said Maria Linné, communicator at the police.
It is currently unclear how seriously injured the man is.
