It is the reconstruction of the death of Libero Foti made by the Trieste mobile squad coordinated by the Public Prosecutor, who investigated the woman for murder.

The investigations of the Flying Squad, coordinated by the prosecutor's office headed by Carlo Mastelloni, would have ascertained that the death dates back to 12 October last when, around five in the morning, the couple would have quarreled, as witnessed also by the neighbors, in via del Veltro.

Maybe he attacked her with a knife, she defended herself by hitting him in the head with a bottle, then she smothered him with the plastic bag and finally struck with a blade around her neck and a hand.

Once the man died, the woman would have closed her body in black plastic bags, her head in another sack, would have taken them to the balcony, on the third floor, and she would have wrapped them in a blanket.

It was on the balcony that the following November 2 agents, assisted by firefighters, alerted by neighbors who had not seen the couple for days, found the body.

As the investigations would have ascertained, coordinated by the holder of the investigation, the public prosecutor Federico Frezza, the woman would have left for Ukraine, where today she would still be, moreover suffering from a very serious illness.

The Ukrainian partner of Libero Foto confessed to killing the man. He did this by telephone from Ukraine, during a first contact on November 13th last, to the prosecutor Frezza and to the investigators of the Flying Squad and confirming it on November 21st in a subsequent phone call.
