Tokyo (AP) - Pope Francis begins his visit to Japan. After the farewell ceremony in Thailand he flies today to Tokyo. The focus is on a message against nuclear weapons that the head of the Catholic Church wants to address to the world in Nagasaki on Sunday. The city was like Hiroshima devastated by an atomic bomb in the Second World War, tens of thousands of people were dead within seconds. After a mass in the ballpark of Nagasaki, the Pope flies to Hiroshima on. There he takes part in a peace meeting.
