In September 2016, Bilal Taghi, a radicalized detainee, violently assaulted two of his supervisors from the Osny prison in the Val d'Oise. This is the first case of prison terrorism in France. The Advocate General referred to a man who "has not ceased to lie" to "pass master in concealment.

The indictment on Friday demanded a life imprisonment with a 22-year lock-in period for radicalized detainee Bilal Taghi for attempting to assassinate two prison guards in Osny prison in Val-d'Or. Oise, in 2016, an attack considered as the first jihadist attack in detention.

The Advocate General has called for sanctioning an "irremediable commitment to an ideology" by a man who "has not ceased to lie" until "passing master in concealment, which is one of the arts of jihad". Believing that he acted alone, he sought an acquittal for the terrorist criminal conspiracy offense.
