“Investigative actions regarding the transfer of warships to Ukraine have been resumed, the defense’s familiarization with the case materials has been suspended,” the lawyer said.
He added that after the completion of the investigative actions, the lawyers will again begin to familiarize themselves with the case file.
Polozov also said that the data that will appear as part of the resumed investigation will be included in the additional volume of the case.
Earlier, Russia handed over to Ukraine three ships detained in the Kerch Strait for violating the Russian border in November 2018.
In September, Ukrainian sailors were transferred to Ukraine as part of an exchange procedure between Moscow and Kiev.
