November 22, 2019 Yorgen Fenech paid the police bail and went out of jail last night, but will probably face further interrogation probably as early as today; reports the Times of Malta. The businessman, arrested in the investigation into the murder of Maltese journalist Dafne Caruana Galicia, was given the benefit of police bail after he accompanied the investigators to search his yacht. Fenech was arrested early Wednesday morning, shortly after leaving the Portomaso marina in St Julian's aboard his yacht. Prime Minister Joseph Muscat subsequently confirmed that Fenech is a "person of interest" in the case of the murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galicia. Investigators were seen on Fenech's yacht in the Portomaso marina in St Julian's, shortly after 10pm. Europol police officers were also seen on board.
