Emmanuel Macron "takes us for cons a second time" expressing disappointment at the former site Whirlpool, denounced Friday the deputy LFI of Somme François Ruffin, shortly before a meeting of the president with the former employees of the 'factory.
In 2017, five months after his election, President Macron visited the factory with a buyer, largely helped by the state, which was to save some of the jobs. Two years later, it is the liquidation of WN, the company chosen to take over the site.
"Come two years ago to tell all the employees that they will be taken back while behind there is nothing, it is to take us for idiots and come and say that today Emmanuel Macron, as s' he was a lambda citizen (...) is disappointed, it is we take for cons a second time, "said Ruffin to reporters arriving on the parking lot of the factory Friday morning.
"I came to the country at a time when they were afraid for their future, I spoke to them in a language of truth (...) And like them I believed in it, and like them I was disappointed," he said. Wednesday the Head of State at Courrier Picard.
"He has to find the words to explain to the employees how it is that he came to slap them on the shoulder and that there was no follow-up behind them, and that they were allowed to go right in the wall, "said Mr. Ruffin.
"There are a lot of things that need explanations and I hope they will not happen behind closed doors," he added. "I hope everyone will also be invited to a nice walk inside warehouses that are empty! It's a desert inside!" François Ruffin said.
"The 190 employees were doing Eiffel towers with spaghetti to take care of (...) The unions alerted, I alerted, and we had no response from the Elysee, the Ministry of Labor," he said. he still regretted.
