42-year-old American boxer Floyd Mayweather, a former undefeated world champion in six categories, announced Friday his comeback in 2020 that could be done in MMA (mixed martial arts).

"Retirement release in 2020," he wrote on Instagram, accompanying this message with a photo of him shirtless with bandages surrounding wrists and hands.

Another message followed, still on the same social network, showing him this time in photo with the boss of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), with written below: "@danawhite and I are working again to bring to the world another spectacular event in 2020 ".

Mayweather collaborated with White on his last fight in August 2017, won by KO at the expense of MMA star Conor McGregor of the United States in Las Vegas.

"Money", which remains on an exhibition fight won in December 2018 against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, had left traditional boxing two years earlier after a 49th win against American Andre Berto.
