The Egyptian drama audience was surprised by the omission of all scenes of the Egyptian actor Amr Waked from the series "Hadith Morning and Evening", which is currently being re-aired on the Egyptian channel "DMC".

The series, based on the novel of the great Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz, was screened for the first time during the holy month of Ramadan in 2001, and since then it is linked to a special relationship with the Egyptian public, which is considered one of the best Egyptian series taken from literary works.

Many Egyptian viewers preserve the scenes of this series, and many of its long dialogues as well, so it was quite clear what the Egyptian channel did from the deliberate distortion of the work to delete the scenes of one of the most important heroes.

Political punishment
In "Hadith of Morning and Evening", Amr Waked plays the role of Naqshbandi, a son of Qasim, and one of the representatives of the younger generation who abandoned Egypt in the events of Naguib Mahfouz's story, which coincidentally is the same as the fate of Amr Waked who left Egypt after the changes that brought the army back to power. In Egypt during 2013.

Amr Waked is one of the most prominent Egyptian artists opposed to the current Egyptian regime, and he does not hesitate to express it permanently. The Egyptian actor currently residing in the United States, Khaled Abul-Naga, participated in it.

Amr Waked has expressed a composite position on the deletion of his scenes in the series "Hadith morning and evening", through his official account on Twitter, where he first stated that he knew the deletion of his scenes but happy that he will not appear on that screen, which he described as usurping the awareness of the masses.

I was informed that the DMC channel broadcast a series of talk morning and evening recently, but after the deletion of all viewers of the series. I thank them for this montage duty because I prefer not to appear on this usurped screen because of the viewers' awareness.
Thank them so hard 😁

Afterwards, he stressed in another tweet that it is natural to remove his scenes and his name from the sequence of the series. The literary right is not the only right that is being violated in Egypt at the moment, but it seems much less valuable than the rights of detainees and torturers who lost loved ones due to the current Egyptian regime.

What is the origin of this name literary right. Right and polite. Things that the system is extinct in society. Self-evident briefs them like that.
Hiji Ade side of all those rights robbed and imprisoned. Neither his brother, his father or his mother is tormented to death or killed outside the law.
Our Lord helps them and endures them and inspires them from His powerful and generous power. https://t.co/zzCdPGUw0j

Global Posts
At the same time that Waked is subjected to this political punishment by omitting his scenes from one of his most important works, the Egyptian artist is achieving successive successes at the global level, he announced that he will participate in two of the most important cinemas expected in 2020.

The first of these works is Wonder Woman 1984, the second part of the Superhero series that began overwhelmingly in 2017, directed by Patty Jenkins.

On the other hand, I recently finished filming my role in the movie The Other Planet directed by the great director Terence Malik. Lord, do you like the movie?

The second is "The Last Planet," directed by American Terrence Malick, a film in which Amr Waked also participates in a screenplay of the time of Jesus Christ.

Thus, the punishment of the Egyptian opposition artists continues regardless of time and regulations change, but the situation may change as it comes.
