The International Congress of Victims of Attack opened Thursday, November 21-November in Nice, theater on July 14-2016 of a ram-attack that had made 86-dead.

Beyond the victims, many people suffer physical and psychological injuries. The Guarantee Fund, which is responsible for compensation, recognizes 2-391 so far. One of the topics discussed at this congress is the psychiatric follow-up of victims.

A quarter of the victims of this attack are children. The younger the children were at the time of the attack, the greater the psychological damage.

Our reporters Karina Chabour and Audrey Racine went to meet Professor Florence Ashkenazi, head of the psychopediatric unit at Lenval Hospital.

His service took care of a thousand children as a result of this attack in a center dedicated to major trauma created six months after the attack, a unique center in France.
